It's easy to put together and use. I love it. cleans my kitchen floor in no time. and freshens up my carpets removing the odd stain keeping the carpets looking good all the time. my next job is the bath room i'm sure it will do a great job.

when using as a hand held steamer it is quite heavy

Just a nice looking product. It does not accomplished half of the features it promises. Perhaps just works great as a mop, but I personally rather buy a cheaper regular steam mop, than spend a this much of money to end up getting the same results.

Stem for using on smooth floors should have been strengthened, I found it could bend or even break with a little pressure. Thane could have incorporated a handle in the design of the steam unit but instead chose to supply a carrying bag attachment...
