Cord is too short, and had to change outlets to finish rug previous Hoover could do. Dead spots of hair collection on lateral edges of upright vacuum brush, and removal of brush plate requiring screwdriver.

I'm comparing this carpet cleaner to the base Hoover Model (hoover-f5914900). I used that model for a few months very heavily. It did a decent job but never completely got rid of the smell of urine... Soooo we got this model and even without the dog...

Everything is plastic and feels like it could break easily. Disappointed in the plastic handle mounts for the heavy water bucket that you pull in and out often. The blue LED light is useless and actually makes it harder to see where the spills are....

Cleans very well, better than any other carpet cleaners that I have owned. I find it very easy to use. First push forward applies cleaner and shampoos, first pull back rinses. The next push forward and back over the same area dries the carpet.

Price was more than I wanted to spend, but if it last longer than 6 years, then it was worth it every penny. The other brands I have used have been scrapped after about 4 years.

Nice unit and cleans well. Has some cons which you can see below. Read the manual this thing cleans faster and better than any other Hoover or Bissell steam cleaner I have used.

Made of plastic but looks good. Senors may not work properly, like mine right out of the box the detergent sensor does not pick up that detergent is in it but it did not hinder the use.
