Not at all what I expected. It is compact but you have to go over the same spot too many times to actually clean the rug. It's also a bit too short. Tough on the back.

I bought this so I could use it in my car. I opened it last week (1/20/15). I hate to bad mouth this product but I will return it. The suction was sub-standard and ease of getting at places was poor. I really wanted a car vacuum that had more suction.
