The entry level Miele powerhead was too low for our brand new carpet. So we needed this more expensive head. It works excellently, but it seems very odd to have to pay more for this head attachment, than the usual price of a whole vacuum.

Having had a bagless vacuum for ages and getting fed up with emptying I thought I'd go back to a Panasonic which I had had many years ago. It does the job but on the thicker pile carpet it seems hard to push but on the flat carpet it's a doddle.
