I bought this along with the Dirt Devil SD20000RED Simpli-Stik All-in-One Stick Vacuum Cleaner so it could do the heavier duty jobs, while the Stik does the stairs, etc. It's held up nicely and works on both carpet and hardwood so I'm happy.

I have bone colored carpet so its great to have a rug cleaner that isn't so heavy that I have to make a big deal about cleaning up stains that may show up. This is a little bigger than my vacuum so I love that its not inhumanly heavy or bulky.

These are great vacuum bags, very thick and heavy duty. This vacuum has incredible suction, it sucks up dirt and debris from deep down at the base of the carpet fibers. One of the best bag vacuums out there, and I have tried a lot.
