PowerSteamer - NOT A STEAMER!

 

I purchased this machine in hopes of cleaning the carpets in the house I recently moved into, and I hoped to destroy dust mites and other allergens using the "steam" option.

Cleans decently for normal, traffic areas

Out out damn spot: The Bissell PowerSteamer Carpet Steamer

 

I?m not sure why they call this a steamer - the water doesn?t get hot at all. Nonetheless, the Bissell PowerSteamer Steam Cleaner does a great job for a reasonable amount of money.
