Vizio M501D-A2R

The Vizio M551D-A2R is a surprisingly stylish, affordable LED-backlit HDTV that sports tons of features, good picture quality, and out-of-the-box 3D for eight people.

The M551D uses passive 3D and comes with a whopping eight pair of 3D glasses (with additional pairs available from Vizio starting at $17.99 for two), so you can have a 3D movie party out of the box if you have a 3D-capable Blu-ray player. I watched...

Vizio M501D-A2R

The Vizio M501D-A2R is a surprisingly stylish, affordable LED-backlit HDTV that sports tons of features, good picture quality, and out-of-the-box 3D for eight people.

Good all-around performance. Solid 3D. Generous feature set.

3D shows crosstalk when viewed too close or off-axis. Dark scenes can look slightly muddy.

If you want an affordable, 3D-capable HDTV, the LED-backlit Vizio M551D-A2R is hard to beat. Its $1,100 price tag puts it at the low end of 3D-capable HDTVs in its size class, and its generous feature set should satisfy your need for connectivity. You...

Vizio M501d-A2R

The picture the TV can produce is also impressive for its price, with excellent shadow detail and fairly deep blacks, and is worth the extra money over Vizio's entry-level E-Series for more-natural image quality. Local dimming for the price of a...

The Vizio M-Series M1d-A2R is an excellent value with great design and a snappy picture; it has excellent shadow detail, fairly deep black levels, and excellent processing; and its Smart TV access has been improved.

It doesn't have as deep a black level as a plasma; it suffers from a slight red push; it has a reflective screen; Yahoo apps aren't very slick; and the remote sensor isn't very responsive.

The Vizio M-Series offers a potent combination of excellent design, decent picture quality, and a pocket-friendly price.

Newegg should find new company to ship not fedex

Overall still happy with purchase for 619.00 although I feel as with many other reviews newegg should drop fedex, usps does a way better job at least they can follow simple instructions. Instructions like use the back door and ring the door bell, which...

TV has a great picture excellent for gaming on both ps4 and xbox one. Good colors, near border less edges make it the picture stand out nicely over quite impressed with vizeo stepping up in quality compare able with my lg and samsung tv's

Although haven't gotten to watch an actual 3d movie I'm not too impressed with the 2d to 3d conversion if I didn't turn the 3d on myself I don't know that I'd be able to tell the difference. I was expecting to see like lgs display at best buy where the...
