Sharp Aquos LC-60LE650U Review

You won't get inky blacks, deep shadow detail or spectacular contrast from this TV, but what you will get is excellent color, outstanding brightness and an interface that is a delight to use.

There aren’t many 60-inch LED Smart TV’s that can be had for $1,100. Actually, at the time of this review, we were only able to find one near that price: The Vizio E601i. And since we’ve not had the opportunity to review that particular model, we can’t...

Sharp's LE650 TV a solid value

The ; boasts better overall picture quality than most competing LCD TVs. Black levels and shadows are dark and detailed, color is accurate, and the image maintains fidelity well in a bright room.

Sound quality has been compromised in the pursuit of a smaller cabinet; some slight black uniformity issues; cheaper big-screen TVs are available.

The Sharp LE650 series sets the big-screen LCD TV value bar high with very good picture quality for the price.

Sharp LC-60LE650U

Sharp's Aquos LC-60LE650U is a reasonably priced 60-inch LED backlit HDTV offering a generous feature set and an overall sharp picture. Color accuracy and viewing angle performance could be better, though.

Affordable. Bright picture. Solid feature set.

Colors aren't accurate. Low contrast ratio. Off-angle viewing causes color shifting.

Conclusion All things considered, the Sharp Aquos LC-60LE650U is a good deal, just not a spectacular one. On the one hand you get a big 60-inch screen, lots of features, and a bright, sharp picture, all at an affordable price. On the other hand,...

Sharp LC-60LE650U

The 650 incorporates a couple of tweaks to the set's design and picture processing, as well as a few extra features. The highlights are an expanded Smart TV offering with Skype and Hulu Plus now standard, while in picture-quality terms both color and...

Sharp LC-60LE650U LED/LCD HDTV Reviewed

The Sharp LC-60LE650U LED/LCD HDTV definitely brings a lot to the table for a television at its price. However, as Adrienne Maxwell discovered during her review, there are some notable shortcomings.

The Sharp LC-60LE650U is a very good value in the category of 60-inch flat panels, and it isn't just one of those bare-bones, minimal-featured TV values. Sharp omits top-shelf features that many people don't care about, such as 3D, motion/voice...

Sharp LC-60LE650U Lightning Review: Entry Level Shouldn't Look (or Sound) This Awesome

The price of big screens is falling precipitously, and not just for the off-brands you pack into your cart next to gallon jugs of mayo. Sharp's 6-series LED

$1500 (or cheaper) may seem extravagant for single-use laptops with fancy screens but for affordable 60-inch televisions, that's a good deal, and for one with picture and sound as strong as Sharp's new 6-series, it's a downright steal.
