Samsung thinks big with this 65-inch beauty.
Excellent all-round picture quality ; Stunning design ; Unprecedentedly sophisticated and content-rich smart TV system
Picture presets not always helpful ; Steep learning curve with the Smart TV features/interface ; Minor backlight inconsistency flaws
Final suggestions are that you turn off all NR circuitry for HD viewing, and only use the motion processing option on its Clear setting, or not at all. Drive it harder and pictures can look too processed.

Say hello to the best 40in TV the world has ever seen.
Superb picture quality ; Stunning space-saving design ; Video-rich online services
Interface impenetrable in places ; Picture presets favour high contrast over natural colours ; Superfluous gesture and motion controls
All this said, at times the interface is a little impenetrable and vague, especially when you first get the TV - sometimes it feels as if the TV is dictating to you what to watch rather than simply helping you make more informed choices. The social...

Hands on: Samsung's new flagship regular LCD TVs look stunning.
Otherwise, though, with its much more logical and thoughtful 'Smart' features, sensational design and potentially very strong pictures, the UE60F8000 looks like continuing the Samsung TV success story.

Samsung's debut 2013 TV raises the bar in picture quality once again
Stunning design ; Outstanding picture quality ; Sophisticated online features ; Excellent touchpad remote control
Smart interface can confuse ; Poor picture presets ; Gesture/voice controls are unconvincing ; Very wide stand design
The Samsung UE55F8000 has thrown down the gauntlet to the rest of the TV world. Now we just have to see if anyone else has the skills and the confidence to pick it up.

The Samsung UE46F8000ST isn't just another Smart TV - it's Mensa material
Stunning picture clarity ; Amazing Smart Portal ; Android app intergation
Voice and gesture controls ; No effective picture presets ; Wide stand

2013 is off to a great start for TVs, with the Samsung UE55F8000 setting the bar high
Remarkably crisp and clear picture ; Sharp edges ; Natural skin tones ; 3D picture is brighter and smoother ; Smart Hub redesign is slicker, More intuitive ; Smart Touch remote control is responsive and fun to use
Voice and motion controls have improved, but still not ideal ; Price ; New stand design needs a wide enough rack for rigid support ; Picture settings need tweaking

The UE55F8000 hits the ground running with its design, which combines an on-trend slender bezel with a dark, glassy finish and built-in camera. However, other designs in this roundup are spectacular too, so the UE55F8000's styling alone won't be enough...
Terrific and stable 2D and 3D picture quality; sophisticated Smart UI
Unhelpful picture presets; dark scenes lack a little punch versus the very best local dimming TVs

Of Samsung's forty new screens unleashed so far for 2013, the UE46F8000 is the flagship 46in model. Bestowed with a raft of new measures designed to deliver the best TV pictures the company has ever mustered from an edge-lit LED screen, it also ups the...
Superb HD pictures; refined backlighting control; slick Smart TV; stunning design
Unreliable voice and gesture control; somewhat expensive; bizarre sports/social mode; wide desktop stand

The Samsung UE55F8000 is arguably the most advanced Full HD LED TV you can buy today. Gorgeously designed and generously appointed, it's a screen which will have tech-heads and interior designers dribbling comparable qualities of drool. But while...
Spectacular in every sense, the design is a minimalist triumph, user interface is polished
Picture presets don’t get the best out of the TV, motion handling remains an Achilles heel in an artefact sock, gesture control is still little more than a novelty
There’s no doubt that Samsung’s big F8000 is a formidable example of LED TV art. Both in terms of aesthetic design and feature functionality, it’s a front runner, with images that are blisteringly sharp and vibrant.

We aren't sure quite when it was the world started caring how many cores something had, but it seems this trend has now spread to the world of TVs. So,
