I had a service tech out that explained to me that this was a very common problem with this TV. Well, you know how tv repairs go. $100 trip fee, $100 diagnostic fee, who knows how much to fix the tv fee. I need to find a way to purchase a tv repair...

Honestly I can't think of one.

My 4 year old TV has developed very noticable horizontal black lines that significantly impair the viewing quality, which candidly I thought was just decent to begin with. This TV cost over $2,200 and lasted less than 4 years.
