We bought a RCA 52" big screen TV new at Walmart in 2005. Waited 20 years before I could afford a big screen. The first one was broke when we opened the box. Went back to Walmart that one worked alittle over a year and then would not turn off and on. ...

had good picture when it worked

Get an Extended Warranty!

 

I have a similar problem now as the previous writer...Had someone come by and look at it lase week...the cost is $1217 to repair (including labor)!!! Thats almost the amount that I paid for it!! However, there is good news to this---Since I bought ...

cost effective, good picture quality, TONS of A/V inputs and outputs

Lighting at certain angles was troublesome at times, costly to repair without warranty

If you're reading this you may realize eventually this is as much a venting session as much as it is a review. And it would not surprise me at all to know this model has been replaced by a newer, fancier if equally unreliable model. But moving on... To...
