Sparkling looks and great value on this 42-inch LED TV

Two-sided Ambilight ; Build quality and looks ; Fast user interface ; Powerful audio ; Smooth 3D

EPG kills picture and sound ; Only three HDMI ports ; Limited smart TV ; No Lovefilm app ; Some motion blur and judder

With Ambilight, smart TV, great sound, a fine outward appearance and heaps of HD detail, the 42PFL5008 is a tempting proposition. However, there are some cracks in the performance.

Refurbished - Philips 42PFL5008T 42 Inch Full HD Smart 3D TV

I didn't know anything about ambient lighting and it was not one of the reasons I ordered this model, but I love it now and i am delighted that this model has it

Tv guide to slow and incomplete sometimes, plus you can't view the full guide and the TV pictures at the same time
