First and foremost, the P65VT20 is a staggeringly good 2D TV, that absolutely sings with good HD material. It also happens to be the most consistently watchable – if not very bright and not totally crosstalk-free – big-screen 3D TV we've seen.

It might be huge and expensive, but this 65in plasma from Panasonic has what it takes to impress us

Stable, spectacular 3D ; punchy, vibrant 2D pictures ; fine spec ; good motion processing

Some are crisper ; occasional stutter ; 3D could be brighter ; 2D could go deeper

65 inches of cutting edge picture processing tech, this huge television is a stunner before you even switch it on. When you do fire it up, its fantastic 2D and 3D performance and fully loaded feature list goes a long way towards justifying that mammoth...

Yes, it’s pricey and yes, it needs to be accommodated in a barn-sized living room, but the Panasonic TX-P65VT20 is a fantastically impressive luxury TV whether you’re watching 3D or old-fashioned 2D images. Panasonic TX-P65VT20 has no tags.
