Panasonic TX-P50ST50

A fantastic Plasma TV to keep LED telly boxes at bay.

Outstanding cinematic picture quality ; Stable and attractive online system ; Fair value

Requires more power than LED equivalents ; Not ideal for bright rooms ; Could do with a few more online video services

Panasonic TX-P50ST50 review

It's another great day for plasma TVs

Superb 2D pictures ; Good 3D pictures ; Excellent price ; Viera Connect is impressive

Less bright than LCD ; Not very energy efficient ; More online video please ; Occasional 3D crosstalk

Plasma, it seems, is continuing to lose the PR battle with its arch LCD rival - at least where the mass television market is concerned. It hasn't helped, either, that the new energy rating system for TVs doesn't exactly work in plasma's favour, with...

Panasonic TX-P50ST50 review

Panasonic may have been forced this year into embracing both Passive 3D and big-screen LCD technologies, but it certainly hasn't given up on its beloved Active 3D plasma screens. In fact, the 50in TX-P50ST50 plasma here isn't at all old-fashioned.

Stellar 2D and 3D picture quality; appealing design; decent online service

No 3D glasses included; 3D pictures in particular can look dark

Panasonic TC-P50ST50

With the Panasonic TC-PST50 series you get accurate colors and solid black level performance in a nicely styled plasma HDTV, but the panel doesn?t get very bright, and 3D glasses are not part of the deal.

Excellent color accuracy. Good black levels. Robust audio output. Sleek design.

Not very bright. Uses lots of power. Only three HDMI ports. 3D glasses not included.

Conclusion The Panasonic P55ST50 is a tastefully designed 55-inch plasma HDTV that delivers very accurate colors, deep dark blacks, and wide off-angle viewing. Its $1,700 price tag is not unreasonable considering its performance, but you'll end up...

Panasonic TC-P50ST50 Review – 50-inch Plasma HDTV

The increase in the volume of digital content being made with the 3D technology support has made it essential for a modern family to possess a 3D HD TV set. Panasonic has launched the TC-P50ST50 to complement the entertainment requirements of a modern...

The model also comes with a lesser number of HDMI and USB ports in comparison to the plasma TV sets launched by the manufacturer under the PGT50 series. But a user can use these input options to access his offline collection of digital content stored...

Outstanding. Believe the hype.

Unmatched picture quality ; Viewing angle is essentially unlimited. If you can see the screen, it looks great ; ST50 outperforms last years flagship VT30 easily for half the price ; I replaced a Mitsu Diamond series DLP with this and it's a HUGE...

I didn't get the 65
