Panasonic TX-L32ET5

Panasonic's first ever passive 3D 32in TV proves a likable addition to its range.

Convenient, affordable and relatively non-tiring 3D, Some good online features, Decent value

Black levels aren’t great, Standard def images could be better, Scope for more online content

Panasonic Viera TX-L42ET5B

The first TV from Panasonic's 2012 range is here. And it's neither a plasma model nor even all Panasonic's own work. Go figure.

Nice looks ; Convenient, affordable and relatively untiring 3D ; Some good online features

3D images can look ‘stripey ; Standard def images could be better ; Input lag could trouble gamers

All this and we haven’t considered yet possibly the most key component of the L42ET5’s multimedia functionality: its Viera Connect platform. For the first time with a Panasonic TV, this includes a (rather hidden away, slightly buggy but well presented)...

Panasonic TX-L47ET5 passive 3D TV

Panasonic has swallowed its pride and launched a passive 3D TV range for 2012. Find out our first impressions of it during a hands on session in Hamburg.

Personally we feel glad that Panasonic hasn’t let its pride stop it offering consumers a choice they clearly want, and we’re looking forward to putting the ET5 series through their paces when they start to arrive in our test rooms in March or April.

Panasonic TX-L32ET5B

Passive 3D is great to watch, good depth, strong colours, subtle detail, lovely contrast

Sound is thin and can get unruly, Viera Connect could be slicker

A solid start for Panasonic’s passive 3D range, pushed into five-star category by a recent price-drop

Panasonic TX-L32ET5B review

Panasonic's first passive 3D TV proves a surprising 32-inch hit

Effective 3D ; Excellent 2D ; Adept at handling multimedia ; Decent audio

Picture processing side-effects ; Viera Connect clunky ; Pricey ; Outdated menu

The Panasonic TX-L32ET5B is the first model off the 2012 Viera production line, ushering in what Panasonic hopes will be a golden year for its TV portfolio.

Panasonic TX-L42ET5B

3D image good, sharp image,

HDMI sockets situated so that you need to put a tight bend in the cable so that they cannot be seen from the front.

Panasonic TX-L42ET5B

Excellent 2D HD picture quality, Good 3D viewing. Loads of connections options. Wifi built in. Excellent gaming tv, low lag.

Slightly brighter at the corners, due to edge lit technology, not a major problem though. Would prefer a black color design for the bezel.
