Panasonic TX-50CS520

The 50CS520 is a bit of a shock to the system. In a year where pretty much every TV we've tested so far has been 4K UHD this and HDR that, and with price tags to make your eyes water, what Panasonic has given us here is a seriously affordable full HD...

Very good picture quality ; Good value ; Surprisingly good sound

You have to work around backlight clouding ; Minor motion flaws ; No 3D or 4K, if that bothers you

A superb Full HD TV at a decent price – you'll struggle to find better value for money...

Great contrast ; Great definition ; Easy to use

More connections wouldn’t hurt

Panasonic TX-40CS520 review

Best 40-46in TV under £500, Awards 2015. Great picture quality at a good price, this TV is an absolute steal...

Lots of detail, clarity and punch ; Well-judged colour balance ; Strong contrast ; Good sound ; Great selection of on demand and catch up apps ; Easy to use

A bit slow in between menus and apps

A wonderfully appealing 40in screen for a great price – it’s one of the best TV deals of the year

Panasonic TX-50CS520 review

4K? No. Great value HD? Definitely.

Great value ; Good picture quality ; Surprisingly effective audio ; Customisable smart TV system

No Firefox smart platform ; It's not 4K ; Mediocre standard def upscaling ; Backlight clouding issues

Panasonic's mid-range HD model looks smart and modern, is well stocked with impressively customisable smart TV features, and delivers picture and sound quality that are both far, far better than you might expect of a £520 50-inch TV.

Panasonic TX-32CS510 review

Is there still a place for brand new, almost HD, TVs?

Freetime ; myHomeScreen user interface ; Netflix shortcut ; Clean, contrasty images

Only two HDMI outputs ; HD-ready resolution ; Trace of vertical judder ; Trace of motion blur

With a Freeview HD tuner, Freetime for catch-up TV, Panasonic's myHomeScreen smart TV apps platform and file-swapping from any phone, the 32CS510 is one of the best connected and best value 32-inchers available – but only if you can stomach a HD-ready...

Panasonic TX-32CS510B review

  (Rating Hidden)

The Panasonic TX-32C510B is a bog-standard 32-inch TV with just a Freeview HD tuner. That's reflected in the low price, but so is the mediocre sound quality. Can this Panasonic TV excel elsewhere in our lab? Read on to find out.

Panasonic TX-40CS520B review

The Panasonic Viera TX-40CS520 is one of the cheaper 40-inch Smart TVs on sale, but we feel that there have been too many cuts in its capability. In particular, with just 2 HDMI ports, there's a real risk that this will turn out to be be a false economy.

We very much liked the 40-inch Panasonic TX-40CS620B, but we're less impressed by the cut-price CS520. The loss of a HDMI port could be a real problem, especially since the price difference isn't that great. Add to that the lower motion clarity, and...

An all round excellent TV. I know you can get better, but not for anywhere near the price of this TV. Bang for Buck it is unbeatable.

Panasonic TX-32CS510B

Very disappointed that not possible to combine my TX-32CS510B and DMR-EX97 onto one remote control. As I purchased an SC-HTE80 yesterday because of poor sound quality I now need to use 3 controls
