Not your Mother's TV

As always, Newegg is first class when it comes to the products they stock and their policies. The TV shipped in less than 2 days and came in perfect condition. I'm not sure that you can even call it a refurbished tv considering there were no dead...

This TV once tuned has an absolutely flawless picture with over-the-air HD. I was impressed by the amount of features such an inexpensive set had and how well it performed. Also, Xbox360 looks and feels fantastic with full 720p and the ability to fully...

Like many have stated, this TV does suffer from a poor remote and menu setup, but once you get used to the way things are laid out it's not as difficult as it might seem. My only real problem with this TV is the blue LED standby light that basically...

Not so sure...

I wouldn't say the input switching is slow, it's just annoying that I have to hit a single button to rotate through all options. Going from the 360 (component) to the PS3 (HDMI) takes one press, but from the PS3 to the 360 it's quite a few. On other...

When it works*, it looks pretty good. It has a great range of colors and contrast, giving a similar picture to a 46" XXXX LCD I had. It has a nice amount of hook-ups, and a great price

On the day it arrived, there was some weird visual noise. I have never seen anything like it or heard of a similar problem before. In the picture, random pixels will be dark green, dark blue (or now on the Wii, bright blue?) and will move with the...

Great inexpensive monitor/tv

Used in HTPC with: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ Brisbane 2.1GHz Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor Model ADO4000DDBOX - Retail, GIGABYTE GA-MA69GM-S2H AM2 AMD 690G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail, Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM...

I have had this TV for 3 months now and no problems so far. No dead pixels. I use this as a monitor for my pc and xbox 360. The 720p picture for the xbox 360 is great. The controls are pretty easy to use. The three levels of brightness are nice. I have...

Takes a while to scroll through the inputs

Excellent buy for the price

Pretty good buy.

Awesome quality for the price, couldn't find a better deal. Pretty easy setup. Lots of inputs

Lighting uneven if you view if from an vertical angle. In a hodgepodge set up that is a dorm room, sometimes you have to make due with what you got. That means the TV is on top of a dresser and above everything else

Excellent monitor

Get this and hook it up to your computer. NOW! Doesnt come with an hdmi cable though.

Great price versus size for a monitor. Cheapest price for a 26" lcd monitor with no tuner is like $560. You can get nearly the same picture quality for $180 less and it comes with an atsc/ntsc tuner (HDTV + analog)

The control in general are slow (remote and tv controls). The sound is horrible, however, if you have a tv tuner in your computer, like I do, you would definitely be better off using that instead. Besides, you could watch HDTV and surf the net at the...

Cheap and Works Great

I'd purchase another one of these at the recertified price.

Great performance for the price. Easy to set up for over the air HD. Once the antenna was hooked in, the auto channel search found 40 total stations. Picture looks good, just as it should

Slow input switching, and channel changing. The antenna, VGA, and several other ports/connections are somewhat poorly placed (facing downward in a cramped spot). This recertified set arrived with one stuck pixel, but a gentle tap to the screen fixed that

Awsome TV Great Price

There is no comparison with this TV verse my 42 inch projection , This 26 inch LCD blows it away . It is very clear and bright .My Projection TV stinks and I may put the olevia in the living room .

Got the TV and hooked up the xbox and saw things Ive never seen before, it is truly a beautiful TV. I was worried living on the east coast with shipping a refurbished TV. But WOW I could not be happier Newegg is a name you can trust for Quality and Value

Wasnt quiet the same as the picture showed speakers were on the bottom not side . The remote is very slow , not much more to say

Very nice HDTV

For tuning cable channels you have to go into the tv setup and choose cable and select what kind of cable you have.

The picture is amazing, the sound is wonderful. Builtin hdtv tuner, hdmi, vga, the works

The remote is terribly slow

Recertified: OLEVIA 26" 720p LCD HDTV 226T

I can't get cable to my TV for some reason?? Has anybody had a similar problem??

Great TV for the price, 360 games look excellent

Whenever I scan for the channels a cable band detection failed sign pops up, so I can't scan for channels. If anybody can help me I'd really appreciate it

Olevia 226T is cool!

I purchased this model last year on Black Friday as a bedroom TV and starter HDTV. Very satisfied with picture and reliability.

Great Bedroom TV; Dual NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner; Great HDTV over-the-air (OTA) reception with rabbit ears; HDTV reception from direct cable input; USB port for firmware upgrades

Slightly smaller than 27" version; can't change from O-T-A to cable without lengthy channel re-scan; somewhat complicated menu/set-up; no printed manual; only 1 HDMI input; only 720p; no cable card slot
