More of the same from LG's mid-range C3 OLED, with a few gains in picture quality and smarts but a tame sound system
Excellent gaming performance ; Impressive motion and upscaling ; Lightweight design ; Nips and tucks to webOS work well ; WOW Orchestra support with LG soundbars
Picture not as vibrant as similarly priced QD-OLEDs ; Sound system is still fairly tame ; Picture exhibits some odd green tones ; More expensive
Another year, another C-series OLED from LG. There are a few gains in picture quality and smarts, though similarly priced (QD-OLED) competition does offer a more vivid colour performance. The tame sound system could also use beefing up, but add a...

Sound aside, there's no better 48-inch TV
Crisp, contrasty yet balanced picture ; Superb gaming specs ; Very user-friendly
Dull sound ; Only slightly better than the C2
It’s not much of a step forward but it didn’t need to be – the C3 is the best 48-inch TV you can buy

The LG C3 is undoubtedly an amazing OLED TV... but then so is the still-available and very similar LG C2
Refined picture quality testament to OLED and LG's expertise ; Great for gaming (4x HDMI 2.1 ports)
Not very different to previous C2 OLED (and pricier) ; Doesn't sound spectacular
The LG C3 OLED is excellent, but by being trapped between the walls of global inflation and LG's considerable own success with the previous (and far cheaper) C2 OLED model, it's going to be an even better TV consideration when the price comes into...

Not a major step forward, but at this size it doesn't need to be
Sharp, solid and detailed without exaggeration ; Amazing contrast ; Exceptional gaming specs
Minor upgrade on C2 ; Weak sound ; Slight lack of shadow detail
A lack of significant upgrades means last year’s C2 is the small OLED to buy while it’s still available, but once it’s gone, the C3 will be the best TV at this size

More of the same, for better and for worse
Balanced, authentic picture quality ; Flawless gaming spec ; Very user-friendly
Only a minor upgrade on the C2 ; More expensive than the C2 ; Sony rival offers punchier pictures and sound
The C3 is very similar to the C2 it replaces. That makes it a very good TV, but you can currently buy better for very similar money

The LG C2's successor kicks things up a notch
Great overall picture quality ; Improved smart TV interface ; Extensive gaming features
Average built-in audio performance ; No ATSC 3.0 broadcast TV support ; Priced the same as last year’s C2 series
LG’s C2 series was our top TV pick of the year for 2022, so the new C3 series has a tough act to follow. But it arrives with new HDR-improving picture processing, a pleasing look, a smart TV interface overhaul, and a wealth of features that will appeal...

While LG's latest C series mid-range OLED flatscreen is predictably very good, it's left John Archer wanting a little bit more For years now the combination of value, features and performance offered by LG's mid-range C Series TVs has seen them...

The LG C3 brings incremental improvements on last year's Award-winning LG C2. But can it still hold its own amidst the growing mid-range competition?
Refined, detailed picture performance ; Fantastic upscaling ; Great gaming features ; Good smart TV interface
Lacks some punch - particularly in bright rooms ; Poor built-in sound
The LG C3 is a superb OLED TV that delivers pictures that are as cinematic, detailed and refined as ever. However, with only small improvements from the now heavily discounted C2 and its competition getting stronger, there are more questions to ask of...

Is a step up in HDR picture processing worth the upgrade, or is the LG OLED65C3 best for new OLED converts?
Brilliant all-around picture quality ; Great for gaming ; Upgraded webOS interface
Sound is underwhelming ; Not particularly affordable ; Feels wobbly during installation
Add the C3 to the long list of brilliantly accomplished OLED TVs LG has delivered over the last decade

LG's affordable high-end OLED, now with QMS, DTS & webOS 23
Excellent SDR and 4K HDR ; Pre-calibrated picture modes ; HDMI 2.1 ports & QMS ; Gaming performance ; DTS audio support
Fullscreen webOS 23 still not great ; webOS not receiving updates ; Raised blacks / flicker in VRR ; Remote control
