LG 37LG6000 37in LCD TV

If you're after a good-looking, Full HD LCD TV, this 37in 'Scarlet' effort from LG is worth considering.

LG 32LG6000 Scarlet review

Attractive user-friendly set with an equally friendly price

Sleek styling ; Great onscreen menus ; Clean Blu-ray pictures

No full HD resolution ; Slight lack of detail ; Motion judder

The beautiful styling, decent pictures and great ease of use make this screen worth hunting down

LG 42LG6000 review

Treat yourself to a stunningly stylish TV

Great price ; Decent ‘live’ pictures ; Good sound

Second-rate recordings ; Dated looks ; Only one HDMI ; Not full HD

That stunning red chassis design helps to make the one or two annoying picture foibles much easier to accept

LG 47LG6000 Scarlet LCD review

LG's much-hyped Scarlet LCD TV struggles where it matters most

‘Lifestyle’ design ; Good connections

Disappointing picture performance ; Large, obtrusive facia and bezel

It's easy to be taken in by the wonderful first impression this set makes, but ultimately you'll only end up disappointed by this TV

LG 32LG6000 review

This attractive TV is part of LG's new Scarlet range of LCDs

Attractive styling and menus ; comprehensive set of connections ; colourful, detailed picture performance

Picture not quite as crisp as class leaders ; we'd like a touch more detail in dark scenes

LG's sassy Scarlet set is a fine TV - shop around and you could net yourself a major bargain

LG 42LG6000

The 42LG6000 delivers a huge dollop of style topped off with a fine sprinkling of substance

Designer looks ; excellent connectivity options ; creates a super depth of field

Images lack crispness and solidity ; struggles movement during fast action scenes

LG 32LG6000 Scarlet television

What's unusual about the 32-inch 32LG6000 LCD TV is its design. Also known as Scarlet, a round aperture with LED light on the front is the most obvious flourish, but look behind the TV and you'll find it completely, err, red. Wall mounters look away...

Easy to use on-screen menus, Freeview pictures, clean high-def images

Blu-ray discs lack fine detail, some image lag

Scarlet puts in a decent performance with Freeview, DVDs and Blu-ray, although its style and usability should be its key attractions. Time to paint the lounge red.

LG 42LG6000 review

A star member of LG's stunning new Scarlet range, this is a seriously good-looking and high-spec TV. But is it worth just shy of a grand?

A very impressive and stylish LCD - only the suspect motion-handling and sharpness let it down

LG 42LG6000

All very clever, but as if this wasn't stylish enough in itself, the TV also boasts a strident scarlet-coloured back panel (that sticks out a mere 80mm), and lights the edges of the cut-out circle in red when the TV's in standby. Cute.

Good value, a fantastic all-round design, great connectivity, bright and colourful images

Lack of detail in dark areas, some processing problems
