LG 50PV450

The LG 50PV450 ($999 MSRP) was a sorely disappointing plasma. We will remember it in our hearts as being a dim screen with highly unusual greyscale gamma, and some of the worst color performance we've seen in an LG. If only we were a naval installation...

Flexible external device connectivity ; Wide viewing angle

Terrible color performance, accuracy ; Poor motion performance

The LG 50PV450 ($999 MSRP) was a disappointing television. The company’s LCD televisions usually have problems with contrast but make up for it with excellent color performance. This plasma TV, suffered all the same failings and none of the saving...

LG 50PV450 Review – 50-inch Plasma HDTV

LG has released this plasma TV model with a much better video and audio quality. The set also comes with a wide variety of options to access your offline collection of music, videos, images and movies stored in various digital discs and devices....

However, you will miss the internet access option as the set does not even provide the traditional wired method support to access the online contents and apps. The lack of internet connectivity feature also restricts your overall scope to stream a wide...

LG 60PV450 Review – 60-inch Plasma HDTV

The model comes with most of the advanced video technologies introduced by LG during recent times. It offers much better full HD resolution, along with intelligent sensor to adjust the scenes according to the availability of light and color inside the...

But the model disappoints without including any networking options to access internet. While some of the other plasma TV models released by the manufacturer offer much efficient wireless internet connectivity through built-in Wi-Fi, this model does not...

Love It

A little upset my ex-wife is getting this TV in the divorce, will definitely buy another LG brand after my experience with this TV.

The large screen for the price was a huge draw. Add in the fact that it is a plasma with the same panel that is found in LG's more feature rich (ie. expensive) models made this $799 purchase a no brainer. I've had no issues with this TV, it runs my...

I have zero issues with this TV, even 2 years later. I would like to address 2 other complaints people had though which are easily fixed. The shipping company was several days off delivery target and skipped me twice though. 1- "Image doesn't fit...

ok...but slightly defective

Ceva was the company for delivery and they are horrible. Truck driver's appearance, personality, and grammer had me question whether or not to even let him in my home. Also, when the truck driver opened the back of his truck, there were many TVs in the...

Great TV for price ($799) ; great color and refresh rate ; nice slim design and low power consumption ; lightweight for a 60" plasma TV

TV glass had a white spec behind glass. Called LG tech. support and emailed pictures of white spec to LG. An LG tech was sent out to repair defect and he recommend not to repair / take TV apart to clean off spec behind glass because he said that there...

Great Deal!

I'm happy to see Plasma still an option. The technology is mature and the caveats of the old days don't apply anymore. Movies, games, and all other forms of interactive TV look beautiful and perform great on this TV set.

50",1080p, 600Hz refresh rate, great menu with lots of adjustment options, Got an even better deal with a promo code ; This TV is surprisingly nice for the money

The only con doesn't really have to do with the TV itself. The first TV they shipped me came with a cracked screen. I know this is something that can't be helped sometimes. So I still give it 5 eggs. They shipped me a second TV immediately (with a hold...

satisfied

I didn't pay much; I think I got a very good deal on a brand new 60" LG Plasma

It's big

Screen is a bit glossy, chops off the edges when connected to a computer, sometimes the backllight gets dim for no reason
