had 2 sets in the end both made a loud high pitched sound. Now have a panosonic and it is great.

Excellant image quality and neat, compact deign. No unsightly buttons on display.

Basic operations and functions are fine but time will be required to read and digest the complicated instructions manual, there are facilities of the equipment I'll never understand.

The thing that attracted me to the Hitachi 1st was its colouring It fits in well as we did not like an all black one.

None spring to mind.

Just about top of the line at time of purchase. Good picture and would probably be better if I had access to HD. Lots of nice features like USB connection and smartcard reader.

Setup on the supplied stand leaves the whole thing a bit unstable. I'd recommend a much more robust stand!

Great Design. Good picture with normal DVD and digital television. Can't wait to get an HD DVD Player to make the most of this TV!
