Good TV for the money

I have 3 other HDTVs, and they all have a way to zoom into a letterboxed program so it fills the entire screen. This set can do that with 480i (SD) programs but not with 720 or 1080 programs. Maybe a small thing, but I use it a lot and already miss it...

Seems solidly made, stand tilts front to back, tunes clear qam channels, good menus, fast channel scan

Sound is quite tinny, responds slowly to remote, when moving up/down thru channels, digital channels sometimes show just a black screen for 3 or 4 seconds before the picture appears (buffering? syncing? not sure...)

Good TV

The unit is slightly deeper than I expected but still acceptable in my opinion.

This is a good little TV. Installed it in my parent's kitchen above the sink. Overall I am very please with it and would buy it again. The coax cable input located on the side is nice when mounting it on a wall. On screen electronic "TV guide" is nice...

Like most LCD's, the viewing angle from below messes with the blacks
