Flight by Night Company`

None

White spot 1/4" big in middle of screen. Can't get an RMA from the AStar. Nothing but run around. Will never buy another non name brand TV. Will never buy another TV on Internet

Simply great

This is a great first HDTV for anyone. I was very impressed on how good it is for the price. I mostly use it via VGA connection from my computer and it looks like the exact equivalent of a giant computer monitor. Simply stunning if you play any video...

Has many features that I was looking for such as the ATSC/NTSC tuners, 2 HDMI ports, detachable speakers, wall mount, and other various specs. The price is the biggest pro of all. Its between 150 and 200 dollars less than other HDTVs of the same size...

Brightness is a little low initially, but I spent some time adjusting the color, brightness, and contrast settings to make up for it. It looks quite fine now. The max resolution is sort of strange being 1366x768 and not just 1360x786. For TV output...

Great HDTV - Low Price

I have this hooked up to the VGA out on the Gateway laptop - which put the output at 720P - also connected through the component video (R-B-G) and audio (R-W) from our excellent JVC DVD player - both screens are fantastic - we only have Comcast Digital...

Wow - I expected a good picture - but this is outstanding - especially for the price

Very weak remote - but the buttons on the unit do an adequate job

Awesome TV and Great Monitor

I suggest getting one of those mulitple input devices to hook up different games systems, because its kind of a pain switching between my Wii and PS2 with only 1 input.

I just got this TV and have had for about a weeknow. Im in the process of Building my first computer, and i found myself needing a monitor as well as a TV for my new room. When i saw this TV i thought i hit the Jackpot and i did. The Picture is great...

When i hooked it up to my current Laptop the picture wasnt that great, but my laptop isnt made for that big of a monitor hopfully it will look better with my new computer and video card. Also the coax cable connector on the back is just very poorly...

Not worth the money

Burned out after 3 weeks. I had to pay $100 for a local shop to repair.

Looks nice, large, inexpensive

Low quailty, screen fill feature for non HD channels is pathetic. It warps the image at the edges of the screen while trying to fill in the screen. Just a pathetic attempt at a lcd tv

Decent

It didn't come with a user manual, no biggie, found the pdf online. Also trying to get the rebate with no luck so far. Even without the rebate it's a great price for the product.

Great brightness, contrast, crisp, clear picture. Many inputs, it has decent weight to it, it's not super-light so you know there are some good parts to it, so it should last

Took a while to find the coax input, they put a sticker over it! A lot of 'black space' to the frame, but at this point I am just nitpicking

Got TV with a big hole in it

Newegg refunded my money

Well, I think the Review title says it all. The box that it came in was all messed up, the protective styrofoam was missing on one end. The top was torn off. There was only one yellow strap holding it together

good for the price

its dual voltage 110-220v, good for me. it also has dvi and vga inputs for your pc; havent tried that yet. my xbox looks great on it...

I bought this tv because im moving to iceland soon and wanted something that accepts a PAL tv signal. watching regular tv is good (its not a sony). I watch shows like smallville in HDTV format and WOW...yeah thumbs up for Astar

The speakers suck! I hate that it doesnt make full screen dvd movies full screen. there is always a black line even if its not wide screen. You do have an option to zoom the picture though but it cuts off some of the picture

Great TV for the price and Newegg came through as usual with quick shipping/service

Nice case, good looking TV. Excellent picture but has to be calibrated. 100% improvement after calibration

picture was so-so until calibration. Some slight "smearing" during high action sequences
