LG 37LT75 37in LCD TV

It's LG's second Freeview Playback LCD TV, but is it as accomplished as its first?

LG 42LT75 42in LCD TV

The first Freeview Playback enabled TV heralds a triumph for LG.

LG is to be heartily congratulated on the 42LT75. The Freeview Playback system turns out to be a triumph, even in this, its debut TV incarnation. And thankfully LG has really thrown its support behind the new technology by doing a much better job...

LG 37LT75 review

The 37LT75 may be the perfect upgrade for the impending digital age

Impressive recording ; Good price ; Easy to use

Average black levels ; Poor 1080p/24fps handling

If the Freeview Playback functionality appeals, the 37LT75 adds up to a very attractive package

LG 32LT75 review

Has LG hit the all-in-one jackpot?

Built-in PVR ; Good quality settings ; External recording

Series linking not up to speed yet ; No dual recording ; Only 720p

Despite a few minor grumbles about some features that have been left out, you do get a lot for the asking price.

LG 42LT75 review

The UK's first Freeview Playback TV is here – and it's a corker

Freeview Playback works superbly ; Good value ; Good pictures ; Nice set of features

Second digital tuner weakens signal ; Limited viewing angle

LG’s outstanding Freeview Playback implementation finally brings the full joys of the digital TV age to the masses

LG 32LT75

This combined 32in TV and 160GB PVR is great for minimising clutter around your TV and means you need never miss a TV programme again.

Freeview PVRs have been around for years but having one built in helps reduce the clutter under the TV. It’s also reassuring that the 32LT75 is no more expensive than many 32in LCD TVs. However, the spanner in the works is that its Freeview picture...

LG 37LT75

In case you're not familiar with Freeview Playback, it's a recording system designed by the people behind the Freeview terrestrial digital broadcasting platform to emulate much of the functionality provided for digital satellite channels by Sky+ boxes....

Recordings on built-in HDD of very high quality, great price, good operating system, excellent standard def pictures

Black levels could be better, 1080p/24 handling is poor

Review: LG 32LT75 LCD TV with Freeview Playback PVR | Absolute Gadget

It's taken the manufacturers long enough, but now we are beginning to see a new range of televisions that combine PVR functionality that should please the wife as that means there is one less thing to clog up the space under the telly (or perhaps it...

Overall, it is very hard not to like this TV - if this had a second digital tuner and better sound it would be perfect but as you can pick one up for around £500 - it may be worth buying it anyway and living with the drawbacks

LG 32LT75

Well executed integration of a PVR into a decent performing LCD ..

In terms of picture quality, there are better performing LCD TV's out there. If however, you want a great value all in one TV/Recorder package that takes away all the pain of recording/playback then the LG 32LT75 is a very interesting proposition.

LG 42 LT 75

Integrated hard-disk recorder (160 GB)., Permanent buffering for time-shift TV, any time you like., Well-adjusted presets

Average contrast and motion clarity., Inaccurate 24p reproduction., Display brightness cannot be adjusted., No headphone socket

It’s a 42-incher with a built-in hard-disk recorder — sounds pretty good for 750 pounds. Well, it’s not that good. For a start, the resolution isn’t Full HD, and with a screen of this size, it probably ought to be. Secondly, the tuner only receives...
