Price. I did think twice about buying this because it was expensive.

Looks. Ease of use. It is robust.

Way too pricey. The qualityis high but it is a small, mass produced, simply engineered item. Producing thousands should make it cheaper. This does not only apply to smeg but other premium electrical makers also.

Liked the style and lettering. Crumb tray also easy to pop out and clean.

Would be nice to have a toaster you didn't have to tip up and shake to clean out thoroughly.

Love the look. It's so smart. Another feature I love is that you can toast on just one side and it also has a keep warm facility. I think it could be a bit cheaper. It offered everything we wanted and more.

A thing of beauty. Looks fabulous. Fits all thicknesses of bread. Toast is crispy on outside soft and fluffy in the middle just how I remember my gran doing it years ago

Well built and easy to use, and toasts the bread evenly.

Could do with a better crumb tray.
