This is really good toaster and takes full slide of bread!! Only thing I would say that is negative is when the toast pops up it is with such force that it usually ends on the work top!

Sadly no previous comments have said that, the top inch of the slice of bread dosn't toast, this is Waitrose thick sliced own bread. Would not buy this toaster again, to have to change my brand of bread, to fit this toaster, is crazy.
