Gigantic Slot - surely large enough for a small chicken. Although the design is thoughtful it requires a lot of space to use to full potential.

We love the bagel function and being able to toast large slices of bread like cob loaves. Basket is very handy and no burnt fingers getting food in and out. We had a previous model for many years and when it died I had to replace it with the same model...
