I have to cut down slices of bread to make them fit in the slots. The slots are wide enough for most sliced bread, but not long enough for anything except standard sized grocery store white or wheat loaves.

This model is okay, but it doesn't develop much heat and takes a very long time to toast a slice of bread. Then it does a poor job of lifting up the finished toast so you often must dig the slice out with a fork or knife.
