2016 is rapidly turning into the year of the convertible. Over the past four months we've seen tablet-come-laptops from tech powerhouses such as Apple, with its 9.7-inch iPad Pro, and new players in the market such as Huawei, with it sleek-looking...

The ultimate media tablet for Windows 10 fans
Impeccably thin ; Vibrant Super AMOLED display ; Decent battery life
Flimsy keyboard base
The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is a knockout 12-inch Windows 10 tablet with a vibrant screen, but it's in dire need of a stronger keyboard base.

We get a first look at Samsung's Galaxy TabPro S at CES 2016, a 12in tablet that's taking on the likes of the iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface.

Not so long ago Samsung pulled out of the laptop market in the UK, which came as a bit of a shock. It also showed the electronic manufacturer's hand and forward-thinking, to some degree, given that tablet and laptop markets have largely converged in...
Enhances design quality for Samsung tablets, slender fan-free design, full Windows 10 operability, bright and colourful screen, battery means a full working day’s use (8+ hours), keyboard included
Fussy keyboard/cover only has two stand positions, small trackpad, Intel Core M3 and 4GB RAM lack punch of competitors, no stylus included, price doesn’t make it standout against the competition
Overall, Samsung's first bash at a laptop-replacement tablet gets plenty of things right. It runs full Windows 10, lasts for a full working day, has a bright and colourful screen (although it's not class-leading in terms of resolution), and a solid...

Samsung Galaxy TabPro S review: We first met the TabPro S back at CES 2016. We've been using one to find out if it justifies that £850 asking price.
Excellent software compatibility ; Good typing experience ; Elegant design ; Beautiful screen
Unreliable case stand ; Single USB port ; Expensive
Samsung has struck an interesting balance with its first Windows 10-powered 2-in-1. It feels more closely geared towards business and productivity than creative applications or media, but it’s nonetheless a versatile slate, slotting in somewhere between.

A hybrid tablet of the future
Super-punchy AMOLED screen ; Good battery life ; Laptop-scale keyboard ; Windows 10 flexibility
Expensive in the price:performance stakes ; Keyboard is a bit shallow ; Ultra-limited connectivity is not handy
Uncompromising design with compromised raw power and plug sockets make for a tasty vision of the laptop future.

By including a keyboard cover and AMOLED display, the TabPro S offers more for less than the Microsoft Surface line, making it a strong alternative to the Surface Pro.
Samsung wisely includes a keyboard cover in the box. Battery life is excellent, and the AMOLED display is better than the screens in much more expensive systems.
The single configuration is stuck with a sluggish Core M processor, and the keyboard cover allows only two screen angles, neither of which may be right for you.
Samsung builds a lot of value into the Galaxy TabPro S, including a keyboard cover and advanced display in a very slim Windows tablet.

Samsung's latest attempt at a a laptop and tablet in one device is the Galaxy TabPro S. See what we make of it from CES 2016.
We’re impressed with what we’ve seen here but the TabPro S is very expensive. The lack of a kickstand and proper USB ports will be a turnoff for some. However, those wanting a really thin and light Windows 10 tablet with decent specs and the option of...

At times it can be difficult to keep up with the plethora of tablets released by Samsung, but there can be no mistaking the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S. This is the largest, most advanced tablet Samsung has ever produced, and hits the UK market squaring...

This hybrid is a decent tablet, but a mangled laptop
Thin; Dazzling screen; USB-C
No other ports besides USB-C; Dreadful keyboard-screen cover; Stylus not included as standard
A reasonably good tablet, as long as you’re happy with Windows 10 and USB-C, but a complete non-starter as a laptop replacement
