Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014

The Note 10.1 is probably the best Android stylus tablet

Good screen, Strong stylus implementation, Improved design and build

New style likely to polarise, Slightly ugly interface, Lingering lag despite excellent specs

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is Samsung's slickest yet. But is that enough?

Gorgeous screen ; Useful S Pen stylus ; Fast processor

Divisive back cover design ; Not cheap ; TouchWiz looks dated

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 review

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is the Swiss Army Knife of tablets

Great screen ; Improved design ; Decent camera ; S Pen a genuine plus

Doesn't feel premium ; TouchWiz UI is ugly ; Should feel snappier ; Expensive

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is the Swiss Army Knife of tablets, offering a slightly compromised tool for almost every job you could imagine.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)

A great screen, stacks of power and handy stylus functionality, that is just let down by a cluttered UI and expensive price tag

Superb screen ; Slim form factor ; S Pen functionality ; Largely fast, reliable performance ; microSD card slot

Too expensive ; Plastic design ; Occasional Samsung app instability

After falling short in the tablet market for a while now, Samsung has finally produced a tablet that could well prove a genuine Android alternative to the iPad – though its premium price may prove the first stumbling block.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) pictures and hands-on - Pocket-lint

Samsung's full-sized Android tablet has had a makeover. More power, a better screen and a new S Pen are but a few of the enhancements. The 2014 Samsung

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition Review: In Depth

Our review of the 2014 edition of Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 shows it's a sterling machine, but can it match the mighty iPad Air? Samsung's Note...

Great design

Smart stay still annoying

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is a significant improvement on the previous model. It’s better designed, feels nicer in use, packs more features and is generally a tablet we’d be pleased to pull out in a public place.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) review

An excellent 10.1in 2560x1600 IPS screen adorns the front, surrounded by slim bezels and the now standard three button controls. Framing the chassis is a metal, grooved band which also holds the volume & power buttons, dual speakers, S-Pen, Micro SD...

Touchwiz and fake stitching aside the Note 10.1 is a very good tablet with the added S-Pen feature for those who want it.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) review

A do-it-all tablet with a gloriously hi-res screen, the Note 10.1 is Samsung's best tablet yet [updated with video]

Dynamite display ; S Pen tricks are genuinely useful, as is Multi Window ; Magazine UX is a beaut

Not as nice an object as the iPad ; Google Play lags behind App Store for creative apps ; Day-to-day performance disappoints

A clever, feature-packed slate with a gorgeous screen, the Note 10.1 is Samsung’s best ever tablet, but niggles keep it behind the iPad

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) review

Editors' note: This review currently reflects performance for the global model of the 2014 Note 10.1, with its 1.9GHz eight-core processor. It will be updated with results from the US quad-core version when that unit arrives.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has Android 4.3, impressive processing muscle, two fully loaded cameras, and a light, portable build. Improved S Pen features boost the tablet's productivity potential.

The faux leather back cover looks chintzy, and handwriting recognition is still imperfect.

The improved S Pen goes a long way to making this high-end tablet worth the extra cost, but if you're not sold on the stylus, it's easy to find a better deal.
