Fantastic screen ; Even better keyboard and stylus ; Impeccably fast processor

Continuum was supremely buggy ; The Windows Store is still short on apps ; Cortana often falls on its face

From Gadget of the Year to a gadget you shouldn’t go near, for now. The new Surface is great as a laptop and sorely lacking as a tablet.

Surface Pro 4 review: Still the king of tablet PCs

 

Packing more pixels into a slimmer body, and adding a redesigned keyboard, the Surface Pro 4 is the best Windows tablet/laptop hybrid to date.

The Surface Pro 4 fits a larger screen with a higher resolution into a slightly slimmer body than last year's model. The pen and keyboard cover are also improved, and this is one of the first mobile systems shipping with Intel's latest processors.

Microsoft still refuses to include the Type Cover keyboard by default, forcing a separate purchase. Battery life still isn't enough for a full day.

A host of small refinements cements the Surface Pro 4's position as the best-in-class Windows tablet -- so long as you're prepared to pay extra for the required keyboard cover accessory.

Great piece of kit. Having used a Pro 3 extensively, the Pro 4 is a little larger. It does everything you need and can easily replace any laptop you have, being lighter and touch screen. They are not cheap and I went for the i7 as the interest free...

Purchased for work and play

 

I purchased this to be able to work - emails, documents, and connecting to work systems... I also wanted the tablet to play - watch youtube, iplayer, etc. It's a great device for both.

Excellent tablet / laptop combo

 

An excellent product. Great design, portable and fast. I actually prefer this to my laptop. Battery life is average but I wasn't expecting too much after reading a few reviews. Highly recommended.
