The Yoga Tablet 8 is one of Lenovo's biggest launches in 2013. Here's our review of the firm's latest Android tablet.
The Yoga Tablet 8 is one of the best-designed Android tablet's we've seen and costs a reasonable amount. However, mediocre hardware and performance prevent it trumping the competition.

Lenovo potentially has a really good tablet on its hands here. The rethinking of tablet design is both welcome and successful; it’s just a shame that the device overall has been saddled with such average specs and lacks real attention to detail. A few...

A unique design that addresses the problems you didn't realise existed on other tablets. This could well be your next tablet, but try before you buy.
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 is an excellently designed piece of out-of-the-box thinking. There is no other tablet like it on the market (apart from the two 10-inch versions) and, rather than being a quirky bit of tat that’s different for the sake of being...

It seems that, once again, I've found myself a device that splits opinion. So, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 is lopsided, has a built in stand and is made by a manufacturer not known for its tablets.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 has something that isn't very abundant in the Android tablet world: innovation. OK, the design may look like an Apple Mac keyboard, but it makes for an interesting, and often pleasant, user experience.
Over the next couple of weeks I will be giving the Yoga Tablet 8 a good old going over. If there’s anything you would like me to look at in particular all you have to do is leave a comment below.

Despite its unusual design, Lenovo's Yoga Tablet 8 is a stylish and high quality device

Meet the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8. This brand new Android-powered slate comes packing a hinge and a kickstand to double up on its viewing modes, just like its Windows-powered cousins. It looks stunning, has an impressive claimed battery life of 18 hours,...
Lenovo's Yoga Tablet 8 is great to hold, thanks to its cylindrical bulge, and the built-in stand is great for viewing media and making video calls. But its performance just isn't up to scratch and doesn't match its stylish looks. If you're after a...

The smaller of Lenovo's two new tablets (the other is the Yoga10) comes with a unique look and impressive battery life, but isits performance good enough to win over any fans?
Sturdy build and kick stand, okay camera, long battery life
Odd shape, processor could be better
It's light enough to use as an e-book reader and the cylindricalbulge makes it easy to hold. The stand also comes in handy forviewing, reading and general use. It's a neat design, and onethat's bound to win fans, but it's a pity the performance...

Lenovo's 8in Yoga tablet has been designed to stand on its own, and to be comfortable to hold
Comfortable to hold ; Built-in stand ; Light weight ; MicroSD card slot
Screen could be better ; MicroSD card slot a little difficult to access ; Some of the software might be annoying
Lenovo's Yoga 8 Android tablet is a good one to go for if you want an 8in device that's easy to hold and which has a built-in stand.

The Yoga Tablet's innovative kickstand and 14-hour battery life are fantastic, but its interface is ugly and buggy.
We want to like this tablet, but we can’t. As much as we’d love to recommend a tablet because on it, if you’re going to spend a few hundred dollars for a new device, you want the best you can get for your greenbacks. This ain’t it.
