Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 – Initial Impressions

Lenovo are gradually becoming a household name in the UK. Thanks somewhat to their rather nice looking and great value for money laptops and also thanks to their range of tablets. Last week they announced a new range of tablets, the Yoga Tablet 2 and...

My initial conclusion is that the Yoga Tablet 2 is rather a nice tablet, I like the Kickstand, the speakers and the nice display. The battery is a little bit annoying as it is not so ergonomic to hold it in portrait with it, although a 10″ Android...

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Anypen (8-inch) review: Versatile, but small for serious Windows use

Small, light, affordable, and able to use a pencil or ballpoint in lieu of a stylus, the Yoga Tablet 2 Anypen with Windows is a better tablet than its 10-inch cousin, but less appropriate for business tasks.

The 8-inch Yoga Tablet 2 Anypen (with Windows) is a nicely realized tablet with long run time that lets you use just about anything as a stylus (I used a fork once). For tablet tasks, and the occasional light business chore, by all means.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 8 Tablet Review

Luxurious Digital Frame. It is easy to confuse the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 8 with a digital picture frame. However, thanks to its kickstand and Windows 8.1, the device has a lot more to offer.

Innovative kickstand, FHD screen, Decent speakers, Reliable communication modules, Precise interface, Large battery

but also large power consumption., Poor picture despite great monitor values, Small desktop icons make the interface awkward, Case can be bent slightly, Very reflective panel

Of course, one can simply use the Yoga Tablet 2 8 as a digital picture frame, but it would be a shame to employ the tablet in this manner, as it has a lot to offer. Its practical cylindrical grip and integrated kickstand are nice, ergonomical features....

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 (8-inch) review

Wondering how Lenovo's 8-inch Yoga Tablet 2 compares to the competition? How does it fair against the 10.1-inch model? We find that out, and more, in our comprehensive review of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 8-inch.

A unique design that stands out (literally) from the crowd ; High quality front-facing speakers ; Solid graphics performance

Oddly placed rear cam with less-than-great image quality ; The lack of an application drawer will be a turn-off for some users
