Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 10 review

Windows 8 in a thin tablet

Smart design ; Great keyboard ; Fast to wake ; Generally runs smoothly

Battery life could be better ; No trackpad ; No always-accessible USB port ; Slow performance

The Lenovo Miix is more than capable of serving the needs of some people, but it's a definite niche; ultrabooks will be better for many. However, it's light, flexible and corporate-friendly, and its one of the better machines of its kind.

We're sorry to report that the Lenovo MIIX 10 isn't particularly outstanding. It's the company's latest Windows 8 device and although this is the 10-inch

Lenovo Miix 10

Lenovo's mostly known for its wide range of laptops, but now the company's trying its arm at crafting a Windows 8 tablet that comes complete with a keyboard cover, just like Microsoft's very own Surface. With a 10-inch screen, full-fat Windows 8 and a...

The Lenovo Miix 10 is sadly a mixed bag. While we love the physical keyboard case, some of its quirks let the whole device down and it does fall short when being used as a tablet: there just aren't enough finger friendly Windows 8 apps at the moment....

Lenovo IdeaPad Miix review

A lightweight, long-lasting tablet that suffices for both work and leisure, although the absence of a trackpad or stylus is an oversight

10-inch hybrid head-to-head: Asus Transformer T100 vs. Lenovo Miix 10

Add a keyboard, and these tablets come pretty close to delivering all the functionality of a notebook.

Feels comfortable in your hands ; Great keyboard cover available

Powered by an older Intel CPU (Clover Trail) ; Odd port layout (USB port blocked when docked)

Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 10 Tablet

The Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 10 Tablet is a fairly well-built Windows slate tablet, but it does little to distinguish itself in a crowded field of competitors.

Compact and convenient tablet design. Decent battery life.

Intel Atom processor offers limited performance. Keyboard accessory not available.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 10 Tablet is a solid entry into the ever expanding category of Atom-powered tablet PCs. While the overall performance and battery life don't deviate too drastically from the average, it does have the downside of not being sold...

Review Lenovo IdeaTab Miix 10 64 GB Tablet

Keyboard-tablet. The little Miix 10 wants to be a tool for devote

Very bright, color-rich IPS screen; Good battery runtimes; Expandable storage capacity; Viable keyboard; Low weight

TFT's inclination angle too steep when on keyboard dock; Keyboard dock obstructs micro USB; Very few interfaces; Poor computing performance; No gaming performance

No USB available when the Miix is inserted in the keyboard. Who designed that?

Lenovo Miix 10 review: A good tablet with an (optional) killer keyboard

Lenovo is known for building notebooks with exquisite keyboards, but the company is also no stranger to the tablet game. It has also introduced pioneering convertibles, such as the Yoga 11s and the newer Flex 14. The Miix 10 should be the culmination...

I'll admit a bit of bias as I'm such a fan of Lenovo's keyboards, but that's not enough to justify this price for a CPU that's a generation old. While not the best, performance and battery life are very good, so if your primary concern is a good typing...
