Business hybrid. HP's 12.5-inch detachable is designed primarily for business users. It is designed to be tablet and notebook in one device, and it actually works pretty well. However, you will not get the latest components. The device has been...
IPS screen, fast SSD, runs quiet, gets hardly warm, good battery runtimes
only 12 months warranty
The HP Pro x2 612 G1 is a business detachable with a 12.5-inch screen. The processor provides sufficient performance for common tasks. The device is usually quiet or even silent and does hardly get warm. A fast SSD ensures a snappy system. It could be...

Microsoft won't be the only company enticing business users with a 2-in-1 notebook/tablet device this year, HP's Pro x2 612 is a 12-inch, Intel Core-powered tablet with stylus support, a choice between a notebook form factor docking keyboard or a thin...
Anyone who isn't completely sold on the Surface Pro 3's Type Cover and wants to retain the option of a full notebook experience will appreciate the Pro x2. It isn't as portable or innovative as Microsoft's take on the 2-in-1 notebook replacement, but...

H-P's "technical support" is ABOMINABLE. As mentioned above, I had to deal with FOUR agents, and each time I had to describe my problem all over again. I repeatedly asked for a case number, but I never was given one, just quickly transferred back into...
None.
The keyboard on the base unit began malfunctiong in less than two weeks after receiving the tablet. Keys would get stuck, and only rebooting the system would solve the problem. Striking a key once would result in the character being added 2 or 3 times....

I also got suckered in with the "ultrabook" description. This is a tablet only. This should be made clear in the description.
The refurb powered on
Keyboard NOT included! Tablet only
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Bought based on description that this is an ultrabook. Unfortunately what I got was a tablet. Returning this to get an ultrabook instead.
Maybe OK for someone who's willing to spend extra on a keyboard/touchpad.
Not as described. Wrong item received.

I want a refund Will settle for store credit or the keyboard this unit should include.
It arrived
This is listed as a 2 and 1 .... There is negligible information on either the product number or the model on hp's site Numerous review sites state the following "The tablet itself available for purchase separately as the standalone HP Pro Tablet 612....

I am so sorry I purchased this tablet. It has been flaky since the day it arrived. Don't make the same mistake I did. I'm going to wait for the Surface 4 Pro comes out, or maybe the Apple Pro to replace this essentially worthless tablet. Oh, did I...
Keyboard frequently stops working. I've had to send unit back to HP twice for repair, and clearly they are doing a terrible job of making these "repairs" because the same problems with the keyboard -- even the virtual keyboard -- keep popping up,...

We are trying this tablet out for an HR application and it is a perfect fit. Unfortunately we need the detachable clam-shell style keyboard that allows the device to be used, at times, like a traditional laptop. It also allows the device to be docked...
