Great mid-range Chromebook despite some middling features
Solid multitasking performance ; Bright, vibrant 1440p display ; Keyboard is satisfying ; Webcam with good low light performance ; Long battery life
Speakers are subpar ; Trackpad is a pain to use ; Kickstand and keyboard cover are inconvenient to use ; On/off button is annoying

The HP Chromebook x2 11 is a well-built Chrome OS detachable tablet that would serve students well and power uses as a secondary machine.
“The HP Chromebook x2 11 is a well-built detachable tablet with an excellent display and good enough productivity performance and battery life.”

Between the all-day battery life and lightweight form factor, the HP Chromebook x2 11 is the perfect travel laptop if you don't need Windows.

HP and Lenovo have two new Chrome OS tablets that cost more and have higher-end features than prior models. But neither the Chromebook x2 11 nor Chromebook Duet 5 make a compelling case to buy a tablet over a standard clamshell Chromebook.
Manageable size for tablet use ; Fingerprint scanner ; Comes with pen in the box ; Lovely OLED screen ; Great keyboard attachment ; Long battery life
Occasionally choppy or laggy performance ; Cramped keyboard that can’t be used on a lap ; Too expensive ; Too big and unwieldy as a tablet ; No biometric authentication ; No pen included
In fact, I’d go as far as saying you shouldn’t buy the HP at all at its regular price of $600. If you see it heavily discounted — this fall, it’s dropped to as low as $350 — that’s a different conversation, but at its regular price, it’s a very poor...

It could use a $50 or $100 price cut, but HP's pioneering Chromebook x2 detachable joins Google's $999 Pixelbook as the elite of the Chrome OS field.

The HP Chromebook x2 brings stylish flair but not much else
Stunning design ; 2K display ; Extremely portable ; Good audio
Pen sold separately ; Cramped keyboard ; Subpar performance

A classy 2-in-1 Chromebook.
Vibrant 1440p QHD screen ; Adaptable and clean design ; Fast and hassle-free
Speakers lack depth ; Not a 4K screen
The HP Chromebook x2 11 is a Chromebook to convince you Chrome OS has a place in your life. It's 11-inch screen is just right for viewing on the go, and its bright edge-to-edge glass finish feels classy in your hands. Battery life is fantastic and...

After hearing so many complaints about the HP Chromebook X2 11, I was afraid I was going to hate this beautiful little tablet, too. Instead, I fell in love with it, despite the processor inadequacies others experienced.
Excellent design ; Bright 2K touchscreen ; Fast fingerprint sensor ; Front-facing B&O speakers
Too expensive ; Limited power
: HP is finally giving us the premium compact Chrome tablet we deserve, but don't confuse luxury with high-performance. The first-gen Snapdragon 7c is designed for efficiency and mobile connectivity, and it makes for a wonderful companion device, but...
