Hannspree Hannspad review

Is it too late for this Android 2.2 tablet to make its mark?

Good battery life ; Fantastic media performance ; Great UI ; Nice browsing and Flash experience

Unresponsive touchscreen ; Poor viewing angles ; Needs software optimisation ; Doesn't wake from sleep ; Sleep mode uses lots of battery

The Hannspree Hannspad is about to become an anachronism. With Android 3.0 a strong contender at CES and MWC in tablets such as the hotly anticipated Motorola Xoom and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, we wonder if people will be interested in an Android...

Hannspree Hannspad review

The Hannspree Hannspad is a mid-priced 10.1in Android Froyo 2.2 tablet.

At £249, the Hannspree Hannspad is hardly an impulse buy, but it’s not the most expensive tablet out there either. The makers have done a decent job of disguising the fact it’s built on a smartphone platform - it certainly feels more like a proper...

HANNspree HANNSpad 10.1in Android Tablet Review

After looking at our first Tegra 2 based Android device a few months back we recently reviewed a tablet using the same architecture in the form of ASUS Transformer . This ultra-flexible device which has its own keyboard dock impressed us greatly with a...

In its standard configuration the HANNSpree HANNSpad offers a product which very much impresses for its price. For £150 (approximately $240) we get a decent quality 10" screen which is very clearly a step above those on budget tablets of 6months ago....

Hannspree HANNSpad SN1AT74W2E

Easy to use and the size is just right. The picture quality is really good.

I had an Android 4.1 before so the fact that there was no operating guide was not a problem for me but I think it could be quite daunting for someone who does not know this operating system.

We use it as a reader plus

Yes one big one. No user manual anywhere. Not for computer virgins.

Great screen, decent sound and everyone loves Android.

Speakers are on the back/bottom but sounds fine when sat upright. The case that comes free with it is a waste of space.
