Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition review

 

Despite being £50 more expensive than the standard Amazon Fire HD 10, the Kids Edition ends up being better value

Great parental controls ; Easy to handle and use ; Free year of Amazon Fire for Kids unlimited

Screen could be better for price ; Camera isn't great

The best kids tablet yet gives the young ones plenty to do and the old ones peace of mind

Amazon Fire HD 10 2017 review: An amazing big-screen tablet value

 

Amazon's big 10-inch tablet delivers serious media chops for less than half the cost of Apple's basic iPad.

A great value for a 10-inch tablet with a high-res screen and solid performance. Starts with 32GB of storage, the same as an iPad. Hands-free Alexa works as well as it does on an Echo.

Really pushes you towards Amazon services, making other media options harder to find and use. Some popular apps are not available through Amazon's app store. The glossy screen makes movie-watching hard at times.

It's missing a few key apps and features, but with a lower price, faster processor, more storage and new Alexa features, the Amazon Fire HD 10 is an amazing value for a high-gloss media tablet.

Great for my 2 year old

 

I bought this last Christmas for my 2 year old and he loves it, I've never had any problems with it and it keeps him occupied on long car journeys and general use.

Fantastic

 

I bought this for my 4 year old son, he absolutely loves it, easy to use and also includes some great safety features to stop him from accessing certain things and I can put a timer on it so it goes off after a certain amount of time.

Just bought this for my grandson and he's 30 months, loads of features for learning and parental controls can be set and time set to allow kids for set times permitted for use. Kindle fire 8 HD, is age appropriate use and with so much to keep kids busy...

I naught this for my son for his birthday I can keep an eye on what he is on make sure he goes on educational apps to learn his reading writing and maths also it has parental controls I can keep tabs on how long he is on it
