Acer Iconia Tab A210

An affordable Android tablet that's not quite as hot as the Google Nexus 10.

Respectable performance ; Decent connectivity ; Expandable memory

Mediocre battery life ; Dull screen ; Drab design

The Acer Iconia Tab A210 - it's not cool, it's not sleek and it's not hugely desirable, but it doesn't make any downright wrong hardware decisions either. Aside from the dated-feeling cylindrical power socket, that is - it's so 2007.

Acer Iconia Tab A210 review

Jelly Bean-toting 10.1-inch tablet with a great value spec - and a USB 2.0 slot

USB 2.0 slot ; microSD card ; Acer Ring ; Good value

Lacks HDMI output ; Data-only microUSB ; No rear camera ; Average screen

The Acer Iconia A210 is one of the best budget 10-inch tablets available. If it wasn't for the very average battery life, we'd be having a major fling with the A210 because it has both flexibility and an Acer-made polish to its user interface that we...

Acer Iconia Tab A210 review -

Quad-core chip will support HD games and movies for a while yet, under £250, USB port for accessing other memory storage, intuitive Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS

Dull display, stolid design, more expensive than tablets that are better-specced

Acer Iconia Tab A210 Review

The Acer Iconia Tab A210 is a well-priced, quad-core tablet device but there are already cheaper tablets with better specs on the market.

Quad-core processor is futureproofed; good price; full-size USB port; user-friendly Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Dull screen; pedestrian design; better-specced, cheaper tablets available.

With tablets coming in at £400 and phones becoming pricier, Acer obviously decided to go for the budget market – but already there’s a cheaper tablet – the Nexus 7, as well as the upcoming Amazon Kindle Fire. It’s hard to see where this tablet will fit...

Has a full-sized USB port

Too thick and heavy to hold for long ; Display not on par with competition ; Sub-par battery life

The Acer Iconia Tab A210 is an affordable 10-inch tablet, carrying a price of $350. It has one key advantage that will appeal not just to geeks, but all users - a full-sized USB 2.0 port that allows you to hook up a flash drive, a keyboard or a mouse....
