These speakers put out excellent sound for the most part, but I've noticed that--in mine at the least--they don't handle any type of base well at all. There is a loud tinny hum that dominates the output when it happens.

I bought these for my sony vaio F these speakers are exactly what i expected for the price there small & loud enough. These people are complaining about the sound here but really u cant expect to wake your neighbors with them look at the size of them

This has to be the best speakers i've seen for the price. i couldn't believe how loud and clear they were when i first got them, just amazing that something so lightweight and compact can produce great sound. so perfect for my dorm room.
