Horrible quality

Do not buy these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If your looking for cheap speakers, find other cheap ones. Don't waste your time. Newegg rox!

Got for $8 and expected little from the sound quality. Sounds like $8. I was OK with the sound, while it worked

The quality is poor, but worth $8. After a few months, the left speaker started going out. The plug into the back of the main (sub?) was loose and causing the left speaker to cut out Eventually it just stopped working. Also the volume fluctuated (even...

Complete Trash

I highly recommend buying the Logitech S220's over these. I have the Logitech S220s and they produce much better sound. If Pixxo spent an extra $0.05 higher quality cables, the speakers would probably sound a lot better. I would expect to find these...

Still works after 6 months

Picks up FM interference, terrible sound quality. Avoid

Do not buy!

If you want a really good set of speakers for a good price, look into the Logitech S-220.

Bought for $8 on sale

The quality of the speakers are the absolute worst! The sounds is not very loud either. The cords between the two speakers are incredibly short. Subwoofer is nothing but a big ole plastic box

Joke spekers

They were nicly wraped

They have a wimpy sound and you cannot spred the spekers more than 8in. So all in all they are a bad buy

Good Budget speakers. You really have to increase you're spending exponentially before you start to notice an increase in sound quality. I'm a musician too, by the way.

These are good speakers for the price. Yes, the cords are too short, but that problem seems to be wide spread these days, You can't complain about the sound quality of $20 speakers that you are using to listen to 128b/s mp3 files. The volume is almost...

Of course the cords are too short, that seems to be so common these days. These speakers also do not have an optional headphone jack. Also the volume knob is on the woofer, so be prepared to reach down to adjust your volume. I have my woofer sitting on...

short line - no way for length expansion

Don't buy this. There's better cheap speaker solutions that at least lets you put 1 speaker on both sides of your monitor. Sound quality isn't anything to boast about either. This is my first time buying a Pixxo product. Due to its average sound...

sounds decent for what u pay for

the line from each speaker fuses together to connect to center subwoofer. At no point in this connection scheme are the lines removeable for expansion. This becomes a problem because the line from each speaker is literally 2 inches long before it fuses...

I got what I paid for

It sounds like headphones in a plastic can. But if that's what you're into then knock yourself out.

They produce sound. Great for the office

Well, this isn't exactly a 7.1 Dolby surround system. But I didn't expect that. I knew what I was getting myself into with this. And it did exactly what I thought it would do. It's not worth taking an egg away because if you buy these with the...

Not bad

After reading some of the reviews I thought purchasing this was a bad decision. Although the sound quality is not the best, remember you get what you pay for. This totally beats internal speakers and was bought for the office. Does the job in a...

Acceptable sound quality ; Cheap as potato

Cheap plastic feel

Pixxo SS-4697 7 Watts RMS 2.1 Stereo Speakers

This is not a bad set of speakers as a spare set, for testing or travel as the sound is of reasonable quality considering how much they cost

Why the manufacturer would put the two satellite speakers just 12 inches apart is anyones guess...I think that this is just poor quality control ; I do not know how you could even put these on both sides of your monitor or spread them apart on your...

I paid 8 bucks for it and they are worth more. The speakers are small but loud and fills up two big rooms.

Clear sound and good bass

Wire is too short
