Audiophiles need not buy.

Nice, cheap 5.1 sound decent looking. I have since converted the set to 4.1 because of the bad speaker, but it doesn't bother me.

The cables are nice and long, and the system is easy to set up. Sound quality is nice and it can go quite loud 79dB to be specific as stated on the instruction sheet

All the dials are on the subwoofer which can be a pain if you place it under a desk ; When I was setting it up, one of the speakers made a very loud crackling noise and now makes a loud whine eveytime I play something

Great

make sure your sound card (on or off board) has room correction, it makes all the difference. without it this system sounds absolutely horrible.

let me start off saying that the system is very temperamental, but after i configured my onboard HD audio with room correction. It sounds great. Bass actually works and surround audio is nice. MW2 is amazing

The system does not work after putting it into standby which isnt really a con for me

GOOD SPEAKERS GREAT SOUND

Operating system …. Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit Motherboard …. ASUS M4A79XTD EVO Onboard Sound …. VIA HD Audio Deck (Sample Rate @ 98K & Bit Depth @ 24 bit) Speakers …. Pixxo 5.1 Channel Multimedia System SH-8606 Processor …. AMD Phenom II X4 955...

I found this setup on sale for $49 around Christmas and I'm glad I bought it. Initially I had some issues but eventually got it dialed in to sound like a much higher dollar system.. When I first set up the speakers I was really ticked off because the...

Great for the money

I bought this speaker set to replace an older pair of computer speakers. After hooking them up and experimenting with the settings, I've discovered that they are not as wonderful as I expected with regard to the sound quality. However, they are still...

Inexpensive, set includes 5 speakers and a sub

Not the highest quality speaker system, but see "other thoughts

7.1 IMHO, but its not bad

7.1 is better, by far..

This speaker system was great for the money i spent, if i were a smarter.. slightly richer man.. i'd invest in a "good" 7.1+ surround sound system

Not good at high volume, cracks like all "not great" systems

so far so good

I bought from ABS because I bought there clicky keyboard from them and it is by far the very best clicky keyboard on the market. It makes the bran new IBM style klicky board that is made by the same company that made them for IBM but revised them to a...

This sound system is great! I have this hooked up to my onboard audio and it still sounds great

The printed labels for power, volume, etc. rub off very easily so try not to rub against the words when adjusting the knobs

Useless

No sound, The "instructions" for patching these into the system are incomplete and contradictory. Have an email into their "support" but I'm not holding my breath. If anyone can provide input or help, I'd appreciate it. Got a disappointed teenager here.

Clean, crisp, and worth the $$

Don't expect to pump the bumpin tunes with these. The bass just doesn't thump like a bigger speaker will. I didn't purchase these speakers for that purpose, however, I couldn't resist testing it. They produce a nice clean bass for typical movie...

This little rig was on sale a few weeks back and I thought I'd give it a shot. It's really been worth the money. My gaming/music listening/TV watching experience has been enhanced significantly. I combined these speakers with my HT Omega Striker 7.1...

miles of wires >.< I wish it was wireless... but likely prefer to not be setting up individual power supplies/batteries

Sounds great, Watson !

This worked out of the box on my Realtek onboard soundcard (MSI K9N2 SLI platinum Motherboard, Windows 7, newest Realtek drivers) Delivers clean well-balanced sound all around !!! The Cyber Monday was the best day for online shopping ! Thanks Newegg !

Good quality surround sound, makes you feel in the midst of action ; Easy to connect ; Proper length of wires ; The sound will rock your socks ; Newegg delivered blazing fast

Nothing major ; Not related to the sound - the blue light is quite bright, but there's a simple hack for that - piece of tape
