Refining an already-great speaker
Class-leading battery life ; Gets incredibly loud ; Punchy sound
Recessed mids ; Bass sounds loose at high volume ; Charging dock not included
The UE Megaboom 3 doesn’t stray from the company’s tried and true formula but it doesn’t have to. The Megaboom 3 is one of the best waterproof speakers you can buy thanks to its rugged design, long battery life, and audio performance, plus the new DJ...

The plus-sized UE speaker hits the bullseye just with the audio
Minimalistic style ; Bigger sound, better battery ; Easy to use
Doesn't offer anything new
The UE Megaboom produces crisp audio, has a great battery life, which makes it easy to recommend over its competitors. But, at Rs 16,500, it didn't blow us up to make that barter.

The mighty Megaboom is a brilliant Bluetooth speaker
Solid, waterproof build ; Good looks ; Fires out a punchy, exciting sound ; Good battery life
Difficult to charge and listen at the same time ; Treble sounds a little unrefined
Megaboom in name, not megaboomy in nature, this Bluetooth speaker is a talented performer

When we reviewed the original UE Boom , we thought it was the best portable Bluetooth audio speaker since sliced bread. But for when you want a thicker slice, with a greater dollop of bass spread, there's the UE Megaboom. There are now boat loads of...
Great sound with ample bass, loud volume, rugged build and waterproof design, decent battery life
Expensive, sound less omni-directional than original UE Boom
There are now boat loads of portable Bluetooth speaker options and the UE Megaboom is a standout product; one only really limited by the high price point and less balanced omni-directional sound output than the smaller UE Boom model.

Surprise! An already great Bluetooth speaker is now even better
Bassier than before ; So very loud ; IP67 makes it even more durable ; PartyUp is a great (if a little terrifying) feature ; Magic Button isn’t magic, but we’re glad it’s there
No Spotify playlists ; No USB-C ; We miss the volume strap
Tough, loud and bags of fun. Ultimate Ears’ hot streak continues

What does UE do for encore after releasing one of the best portable Bluetooth speakers of the last two years? Go bigger, of course, with a larger model appropriately called the UE Megaboom.
The larger UE Megaboom improves on the already impressive sound quality of the Boom, with even louder sound and fuller bass. It's also waterproof, has upgraded Bluetooth range (and Bluetooth Smart) and excellent battery life.
A bit pricey at $300; no carrying case included.
The UE Megaboom Bluetooth speaker one-ups its little brother with a range of improvements, including a larger size, bigger sound (particularly on bass), better waterproofing and extended battery life.

The Ultimate Ears Megaboom is the largest portable speaker in this trendy brand's range. It's not available in quite as many designs and patterns as the Ultimate Ears Boom but, with four to choose from, there's something for everyone. It's certainly...

The UE Megaboom Bluetooth speaker's loud sound and waterproof body make it a great choice for lovers of the outdoors.
Waterproof up to 1 meter ; Plays loud ; Excellent battery life and Bluetooth range ; Cool and useful control app
Bass can get a little too punchy ; Voices don't sound super-smooth ; Pricey
The UE Megaboom isn’t the smoothest-sounding Bluetooth speaker you can buy, but its waterproof design and loud, full sound make it a great choice for lovers of the outdoors.

Unique look.
Pricey, especially in the UK.

The UE Megaboom looks to be Logitech's way of starting the year with a bang, as its latest speaker is a supersized version of the already-loud original UE Boom, yet promises to be even beefier. At £249.99 it's a fair bit pricier too - and is bigger...
The original UE Boom was one of the most impressive Bluetooth speakers we've seen, combining portability with huge sound, and now its bigger brother, the Megaboom, has landed. It’s even louder but is almost twice the size. It looks exactly like its...
Logitech hasn't strayed too far away from a winning formula with its latest Megaboom, and there's not too much to complain about. The price tag is our biggest complaint though, and at £249.99, the Megaboom towers over many of its peers for cost alone,...
The UE Megaboom improves on the original in almost every way but at the sacrifice of portability and price. It can still be thrown into a big bag, and it's well worth a look if you're after a booming speaker with top notch sound, a focus on bass and a...
