Awsome for price

Don't let price deter you from buying these there great!

Speaker range of frequency is ok. For general music there ok. Gaming there great because an explosion isn't on the lowest frequency range...GAming is awsome with these increases my heart rate and everything

Like i said above frequency range is eh...rap/techno aren't gonna sound amazing if your used to high end speakers if these are your first speakers with a woofer then it'll good for you

Cheap, powerful and annoying

If it weren't for those shell shockers, these things would still be sitting in Newegg's warehouse instead of on my desk.

Lots of power, these babies can wake up your neighborhood, so watch the volume ; Can't beat the price, you won't feel guilty to use and abuse them

Front audio and rear audio jacks. If you have an older computer with only 1 audio out jack, I guess you'll be paying for 4 speakers but only using 2 ; Volume control is on the BACK of the subwoofer. Since no one ever puts their subwoofer within easy...

Great sound for a great price

The volume controls are on the subwoofer, so if you're going to have the subwoofer under your desk, it might be tough to adjust the volume via dials. There's no off button either, so if you want to disable the sound, you'll either have to mute or...

If you want an inexpensive surround sound system, this is the best bang for the buck. It's pretty much like the 5.1, but it lacks the front speaker. I've been playing various games on it, and they sound awesome. It really enhances the game play with...

For some reason, these speakers pick up radio wave noise. Whenever someone tries to call my cell or if I try to call out, the speakers make a loud buzzing noise. I've had this problem with another set of speakers though. It's not a huge problem, but if...

trash

Save your money and get something better

Cheap

These are the worst speakers i've EVER owned, they shut off for no reason, they have ALOT of static, and I haven't been able to get the rear speakers to work. This was a waste of my money

awesome speakers

for the price this beats any other computer speakers period

these speakers are loud ; for the price its the best deal ; 4 speakers plus sub woo cod

volume knob on sub is annoying ; vista doesnt support it right ; it has to be set to special for it ; all to work right but its not a huge deal

Works great!

Having strange problems with the auto-on/off feature? Check to make sure you have things plugged in correctly--if not, the auto on/off feature will not know that sound is playing and will shut itself off. This is very important...!

Extremely affordable ; good quality for what you pay

cords could be a little longer ; have to change volume on the subwoofer from behind... a remote would've been nice

They

didn't work out for me but based on the many other satisfied customers... probably a good bet.

These speakers have great sound quality and seem to work well for everyone else

these speakers have an auto turn on/off feature. i think my set is defective. they'll turn off from lack of audio input (even when they're is audio input. they'll cut off in the middle of a song that they're playing. it's strange. i've tested them on...

Greaqt Sound!

Watts are RMS, which are the toughest standard. 12 watts and 5 watts with 0.5% THD (which is what these speakers can handle) is like100 - 200 watts of peak music power, which is what today's ghetto blasters state. I guess what I'm saying is unless your...

EXCELLENT sound! Easy to hook up. All the colours match. Got as a shell shocker w/ free shipping. Thanks NewEgg. They are well packed, and come with little stands, or you can put them on a wall

Great speakers but....

I listen to a lot of trance/dance music and these speakers really push out the "umph" out of my mp3s. However, I was only able to get 2.1 sound vs. the full 4.1 sound. All the speakers work, but only the front speakers and the subwoofer have sound...

excellent sound reproduction ; powerful subwoofer ; great bang for the buck

only 2.1 sound for mp3s in Vista ; cheesy hollywood 2 logo ; occasional thump from subwoofer when not in use
