Epos M12.2

Simple design produces complex, one-size-fits-all musicality

Dynamic and rhythmical ; precise ; match for al types of music

Midrange is a little lean

Epos M12.2

The Epos M12.2s evolved from the entry-level M12 and moved into the midrange courtesy of some recent refinements including a new aluminum drive chassis and real wood veneer front baffle. The upshot is extraordinary performance that surpasses the price.

Musical timing; composed, honest sound

Unbalanced high frequencies

SUPERB SMALL SPEAKERS

Lovely speakers that punch well above their weight (price bracket). I've been using them in a small room with CD/amp costing over 4000 and they hold their own very well. However, they also sound good with cheap eqiupment. They sound better with the...

Amazing delicacy and resolution, good build.

Don't like being pushed hard, not that good in a large room (true of most small speakers)

HIGH END SOUNDS, FOR A LOW LOW PRICE

ignore the "aren't they a bit lean"? tosh spouted about epos in general, don't deny yourself a listen. i've got the 5 speaker package with m5's at the back ( they are all mag shielded ) and with my rel t1 they sound wonderful with movies too

for around 300 used or ex demo these epos speakers do that very rare and peculiar thing, you will go thru all of your music collection to see what it really sounds like, incredible midrange, tight bass, spot on timing and musical like nothing else for...

they benefit from solid stands and a hefty thrash to run in fully. decent speaker cables are as with all speakers a must. some newer speakers tick more boxes regards looks.

Epos are not brite or brittle or harsh sounding. They are the truth. Its the upstream electronics thats harsh. No the Epos are not perfect. but their shortcoming is error of omission. what you hear is what you got. sorry for my frankness.
