The original speakers were 25 years old. I had a pioneer stereo installed in the car and the factory ones couldn't handle the power. I bought replacement ones, but with the same result. All were rated at 45 watts. The new stereo just blew them out....

I'm playinjg this thing as I write this review. I don't feel that bad because I only paid 20. dollars in a garage sale but I don't feel satisfied with them. Only good thing about it good base. I don' want them if some body out there wants them contact me.

Not a great speaker, looks great, but if you crank it up -static. It broke the second time I used it. Blue light would come on and then shut off. Tried everything.

The speakers were ok at first but I threw the entire thing out within 10 days. The speakers started to crackle a lot even tho I always had the ipod on a low volume. There are better products out there.

These were great, until we upgraded to Windows 8.1; that's when the USB driver refuses to work any longer. It may work intermittently (plug, unplug, power down, power up, try to trick them into working, then if sucessful, never power down your machine...
