Bowers & Wilkins Formation Flex review

A decent but slightly clinical sounding, compact wireless speaker

Big sound ; Precise, clear audio ; Excellent dynamics ; Stylish design

Fussy control system ; Lacks warmth and expression

The B&W Flex delivers a more hi-fi sound than anything else this size, but it’s expensive and not without software gremlins

Hands on: Bowers & Wilkins Formation Flex review

Bowers & Wilkins Formation range of speakers saw the audio brand branch out in multi-room home streaming, in a similar vein to Sonos.  The range comprised bookshelf speakers, a soundbar, an amplifier, and a large standalone wireless speaker, but...

Gorgeous design Stunning audio clarity Support for Hi-Res Audio

Rather expensive No 'smart' features

Review: Bowers & Wilkins Formation Flex | Easy To Connect In Stereo Or Multi-room Bowers & Wilkins Formation Flex

Bowers & Wilkins does not quite succeed with the smallest speaker in the wireless Formation series.

Bouncy dynamics and bass, easy to connect in stereo or multi-room.

Slim sound despite good bass, a little shrill on volume, and no connections.
