Bose SoundTouch 10

The Bose SoundTouch 10 is the Bose equivalent to the Sonos Play:1, a little speaker that has proved incredibly popular.

Easy-to-use presets ; Fairly versatile ; Fair sound quality

Not portable ; Non-dynamic sound ; Bland design

A good multi-room speaker for mixed tech ability families, but not a class-leader.

Bose SoundTouch 10 review

The smallest, most affordable speaker in the SoundTouch range is also one of the best.

Smart, compact design ; Big, clear sound ; Abundance of features, including multi-room

Slightly coarse treble ; Midrange hardens up in higher volumes ; App is lacking some of the more thoughtful features of rivals

The SoundTouch 10 remains a capable wireless speaker for sound, but it's let down a bit by its app

Bose SoundTouch 10 review

  (Rating Hidden)

The smallest of this Bose multiroom range, the SoundTouch 10 has some bigger and more powerful siblings to contend with. It offers Bluetooth and wi-fi connectivity and (as we've come to expect from Bose) looks like a sturdy, well-built speaker. But...

Bose SoundTouch 10 Wireless speaker review

The Bose SoundTouch 10 is the cheapest wireless speaker in Bose's line-up. We wanted to know if the lower price tag results in poorer performance and features, so hooked one up to our Wi-Fi network to find out.

Available as a simple black or white box with the buttons on top, the Bose SoundTouch 10 will fit effortlessly into most living rooms. It packs in a remote control, helping to keep the design looking minimal, and it also means you'll be able to control...

The SoundTouch 10 only packs in a single speaker, so you'll have to get used to listening to your favourite tracks in mono, and unlike other gadgets you can't link it up with another SoundTouch 10 for stereo playback

The Bose SoundTouch 10 is one of the most affordable systems in Bose's line-up, and with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming, it's quite competent at delivering your tunes. It does lack NFC, it's not quite stereo, and the app and multi-room experience isn't...

Bose SoundTouch 10

The Bose SoundTouch 10 wireless speaker streams via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and can easily connect to other speakers throughout your home, but it lacks stereo output and sounds just average for the price.

Solid audio performance at moderate volumes. Includes six programmable memory buttons. Can stream via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Includes 3.5mm aux connection.

Doesn't get very loud or deliver much bass. Cluttered control panel. Cannot be paired with another speaker in stereo mode. Some Bluetooth issues.

Conclusions There's nothing terribly wrong with the Bose SoundTouch 10, but it feels like it's missing a few things—better bass response, stereo drivers, and the ability to expand into a stereo array, primarily. And some of the Bluetooth annoyances...

Bose SoundTouch 10 review: Mini wireless speaker packs some surprising punch

The SoundTouch 10 is Bose's most affordable wireless multi-room audio speaker -- and it sounds excellent for its size.

The Bose SoundTouch 10 is a very compact Wi-Fi speaker that plays much bigger than its size would indicate, and it offers convenience features like Bluetooth and shortcut buttons. The app is pleasant to use and most functions are straightforward. The...

The revealing nature of the speaker means some genres of music can sound a little harsh at higher volumes. There's no mute button and no integrated battery for on-the-go use. The competing Sonos offers more services over Wi-Fi, more sound-tailoring...

The affordable Bose SoundTouch 10 is an impressive sounding compact Wi-Fi wireless speaker that also offers Bluetooth connectivity.

Bose SoundTouch 10 Review

This speaker is compatible with Alexa-enabled smart speakers.

It sounds flat and boring.

The Bose SoundTouch has some unique design features and is user-friendly, but the sound quality didn’t impress us.

The is a small, relatively inexpensive speaker that packs in some pretty good audio quality. With a versatile Bluetooth connection, it is the best choice for those that just want a single speaker for their living room or kitchen.

Bose SoundTouch 10 review: Classic Bose Sound now becomes affordable

The Bose SoundTouch 10 is one of the best Bluetooth systems you can buy at the moment and here's why

The Bose SoundTouch 10 is one of the best Bluetooth systems you can buy at the moment, especially since this is now cheaper than some of good headphones from the company. There are other superior Bluetooth devices in the market now since luxury brands...

Review: Bose SoundTouch 10

The next area to get attention in the sound world isn't big headphones, though we love those too. No, it's multi-room, and while Sonos may well dominate, Bose is looking to make a dent even in the entry level.

Loud; Excellent sound, despite it lacking stereo; Remote included; Preset buttons are a fantastic inclusion;

Technically mono; Requires a Bose account to work; Bluetooth won’t work until the speaker is setup on a WiFi network; App needs way more services, and to be better developed;
