Bose has been gradually expanding its smart soundbar portfolio, and its $400 Smart Soundbar 300 is the latest addition. It's the smallest and least expensive of the range, yet it possesses most of the features of its more expensive siblings, the $550...

The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 is a superb choice for music and movies in small-to-medium-sized rooms, with an expansive sound and some really innovative extra features. The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 may be expensive compared to many other TV speakers, but...

Dialogue enhancement feature available. Can get loud with minimal compression artifacts. Outstanding wireless connectivity options. Bass adjustment feature available.

The Bose Smart soundbar 300 fills a niche for a quality 3.0 entry-level soundbar. Great for smaller spaces, bedrooms etc. Bose quality too.
Loud enough in smaller spaces with low THD ; Voice assistant ready ; BT and Wi-Fi music streaming (CD quality) ; Spotify client as well as AirPlay 2 ; Wi-Fi AC but no Ethernet port
No real app EQ – just dialogue cutover adjustment ; No low or mid-bass - no room shaking here ; Poor downmix of Dolby Digital 5.1 to 3.0 ; No Dolby Atmos, DTS, PCM 3.0/5.0 support ; Lacks USB port, or a second HDMI input port
Bose Smart Soundbar 300 is a quality entry-level bar.
