I am able to put drives in all four bays at the same time and encode videos from all the drives simultaneously. The multidock safe me so much time.

I bought this to replace a cheaper desktop unit that I had. It recognizes the drives much more quickly than the other unit.

Haven't put it through a ton of use yet, but it works perfectly out of the box for my needs.
